style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The next part is called slicing the 3d model, this converts the 3d item in individual slices or lairs, as the printer builds up the 3d model layer by layer. It also converts the model to a language that the 3d printer understands called gcode. Assuming everything is correct you send the file to the 3d printer which finally prints the 3d item.
